Nurture – Small Groups

Nurture your relationship to God and others through a small group

Do not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another and building each other up in love. ~Hebrews 10:25

Adults, youth, and children all benefit from time spent with others in a small group. At Hope Ridge United Methodist Church there are a variety of small group opportunities to help nurture your connection to God and others. Small groups typically start with every new season; Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer but please contact the church office to the latest weekly message for up-to-date information. Volunteers are always welcome for these opportunities as well! Below are the various ways you can connect with a small group through Hope Ridge United Methodist Church.

Adult Small Groups – These are opportunities to learn scripture, process events in your life, and connect with other Adults. Sunday Adult Group (9:15am), Women’s Groups, Monday Men’s Group, Financial Peace University, Women’s retreat, Emmaus Prayer Walk.  Childcare is available with advance notification.

Youth – Senior High and Junior High youth meet on the 1st & 3rd Sundays from 5-7pm for small group time. Each gathering includes dinner, an interactive study on faith and life, and time to play together. Any youth is welcome to drop-in and check it out and adult volunteers are always welcome. Discover how awesome God made you and the gifts you have!

Children – Children at Hope Ridge are invited to experience a unique small group through “Ridge Kids” Worship. Every Sunday at 10:30am children gather in the Youth Room for praise songs, a big group video and scripture lesson, and small group discussion based on age. Each week offers an age appropriate lesson on faith, life, family and mission projects that helps children nurture their faith. Children are securely checked in and out using an E-check in system.

Special Events – Connect throughout the year at Hope Ridge United Methodist Church through various special events. These events pull together many small groups as well as the community to create fun, energetic, and memorable times. These events typically occur every season and include events like Trunk or Treat, Parents’ Night Out Child-care, Easter Egg Hunt, and Vacation Bible School. Complete dates can be found on the church calendar or the church office.
