Sam Meunier, Director
I have always loved the field of education! As a child it was a special treat to join my mom in her classroom. I spent my high school and college summers teaching swim lessons and Bible school and I treasure this time spent growing with families as a caretaker and mentor. These experiences confirmed my drive to enter the field of education, and I continued my formal training to receive a Master’s Degree in Elementary Ed.
I began my professional career teaching Kindergarten and then spent several years teaching 4th grade. After five years in the field, I took a brief break from teaching when I was blessed with children of my own.
Once my children were in school full time, I felt the pull to return to the classroom. Both of my children attended Hope Ridge Preschool and my family has found a church home in Hope Ridge United Methodist Church, so my heart was called to pursue a teaching opportunity here as well.
I have been privileged to be a member of the Hope Ridge Preschool team since 2011. I have had the opportunity to work as both a teacher and assistant in the classroom. I was very excited to begin a new chapter at Hope Ridge as the Preschool Director in September of 2015.
I look forward to the opportunity to help enrich a love of learning and education with generations to come!
